Configuring the Leaderboard App
The Leaderboard App is designed to incentivize member participation and engagement by rewarding activities with coins. Follow these steps to configure it:
Step 1: Map Coins
In this step, admins can assign coin values to various community activities. Activities are grouped under categories like Discussion, Events, Polls, and Jobs.
- Discussion Activities:
- Start a discussion
- Participate in a discussion
- Like a reply
- Like a discussion
- Follow a discussion
- Receive follow on discussion
- Event Activities:
- Create an event
- Upload photos to an event
- Delete photos from an event
- Register for a free event
- Register for a paid event
- Mark your attendance
- Poll Activities:
- Create a poll
- Create a quiz
- Participate in a poll
- Job Activities:
- Post a job
- Receive applications to your job
Admins can click on each activity group (accordion style) to expand and assign specific coin values to the listed activities.
Step 2: Coins Settings
After mapping coins to activities, admins proceed to Coins Settings:
- Include Groups:
- Select the groups for which the Leaderboard will be active.
- Use the dropdown menu with a placeholder: “Find groups to select from” to choose relevant groups.
- Actions:
- Skip: Move forward without saving changes.
- Save: Save the configuration and activate the Leaderboard.
Success and Leaderboard Display
After saving, a success message will confirm the activation:
- Title: Success!
- Subtext: Your Leaderboard module is now active.
Once configured, the Leaderboard will be visible to all members under the Leaderboard Tab in the dashboard. Members will see top performers ranked as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in a podium design.
Additionally, the Leaderboard Rank will also be visible on the right side of the dashboard for quick access.
Additional Features for Users

Members can view a detailed breakdown of their earned coins under the “My Coins Breakup” Tab. - How to Get Coins:
Members can learn about ways to earn coins by accessing the “How to Get Coins” Tab.
Future Edits via Settings
Admins can make adjustments to the coin values and group selections anytime by clicking on the Gear Icon (Settings) available in the Leaderboard configuration page. This ensures flexibility to tweak the Leaderboard setup as the community evolves.

How do I decide how many coins each activity earns?

Can I change coin allocations later?
