Configuring the Business Listing Module

The Business Listing Module allows community members to showcase their businesses, add products and services, and manage inquiries (leads) effectively. This module empowers members to foster networking and business opportunities within the community.

Adding a Business

When admins click the “Add Business” button, they’ll be prompted to fill in the following details:

• Business Details :
  • Banner : Add a visual banner for the business.
  • Business Name* : Enter the name of the business (required).
  • Address* : Specify the business location (required).
  • City, State, Country*** : Provide the geographic details of the business (required).
  • Website : Add the business’s official website.
  • Pincode* : Enter the postal code for the business location (required).
  • Industry* : Choose the business’s industry (required).
  • Organisation Size* : Indicate the size of the organization (e.g., small, medium, large).
  • Type of Firm* : Specify the type of firm (e.g., sole proprietorship, partnership).
  • Turnover : Mention the business’s annual turnover.
  • GST Number : Add the GST number, if applicable.
  • Description* : Write a brief description of the business (maximum 500 characters, required).
  • Tags : Add relevant tags to improve searchability.
• Logo :
• • Add a logo (recommended size: 200 × 200, formats: .jpeg, .png).
• Contact Information :
  • Add multiple contact details, including:
    • Name*
    • Phone Number*
    • Email ID*
• Visibility :
  • Hide from Community Landing Page : Check this option to keep the business hidden from the community’s landing page.

Adding Products to a Business

After adding a business, admins can further enrich the profile by adding products. The Add Product form includes the following fields:

• Product Details :
  • Banner : Add a product image or banner.
  • Name of the Product* : Provide the product name (required).
  • Make : Specify the make of the product.
  • Select Category* : Choose a category for the product (required).
  • Model, Size, Weight, Volume : Add product specifications.
  • Description : Write a detailed description of the product.
  • Rate : Specify the pricing.
  • Package Details : Mention packaging information.
  • Availability : Indicate stock availability.
  • Minimum Quantity : Set the minimum order quantity.
  • Shipment Details : Provide details about shipping.
• Link Product to a Business :
  • Choose from already added businesses in the dropdown.
• Contact Information :
  • Add the contact person’s name, phone number, and email ID.
  • Optionally, add other contact details.
• Submit : Save the product details to make it visible in the business profile.

Managing and Filtering Entries

Once businesses, products, and services are added, they can be managed and filtered using the available tabs:

• Business: View and edit all businesses.
• Products: Filter and manage products linked to businesses.
• Services: Filter and manage services linked to businesses.
• Leads: Track and manage inquiries received for products and services.

Managing Leads

• If community members inquire about products or services, their details (name, contact information, and inquiry details) will appear under the Leads Tab.
• Leads are automatically assigned to the business owner who added the product or service, enabling them to follow up directly.

Key Notes

1.  Community Access: Once this module is installed, all community members can add their own businesses, fostering collaboration and networking opportunities.

2.  Dynamic Entries: The module dynamically connects businesses with products, services, and leads for seamless management.
