How to Invite & Bulk Invite Members in Jambo
Admins can easily invite individual members or bulk upload multiple members to their community. Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for your members.
Step 1: Access the Member Invitation Panel
Where to Find It?
Once logged into your Jambo Dashboard, locate the “Add Members” option in the left panel.
Upon clicking, you will see two options: Invite Users (For adding a few members manually)
Bulk Uploads (For inviting multiple members at once)
Step 2: Inviting Users Individually
If you need to invite only a few members, use the Invite Users panel.
Fill in the following details for each member:
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
Click “Add More” if you want to invite multiple users one by one.
Once details are entered, click “Invite” to send the invitations.
A success message will appear confirming the invitations were sent.
The invited users will receive an email with a registration link.
Step 3: Bulk Upload for Multiple Invitations
If you’re managing a large community, you can invite multiple users at once using the Bulk Upload feature.
Download Template
Go to the Bulk Uploads tab and click “Download Template”.
Important Notes:
- Make sure your registration form is configured correctly before uploading data.
- You can pre-set passwords for each member in the excel. If left blank, users will be asked to set their own password when logging in.
The downloaded excel file will have fields that match your registration form settings.
Each column contains helpful comments to guide admins while filling out the data.
Fill Out the Excel File Correctly
Enter member details in the respective columns and ensure the format is correct.
Common Mistakes to Avoid:
Do not change column titles.
Do not leave blank rows in between filled data.
Ensure phone numbers include country codes.
Save the file in .xlsx format before uploading.
Upload the Updated File
Once the excel file is ready, go back to the Bulk Uploads tab and click “Upload File”.
If there are errors in the file, you may see an error message.
Correct the errors and re-upload the file.
Once successfully uploaded, a success message will appear:
Confirm and Send Invitations
After a successful upload, click “Confirm Send Outs”.
A final success message will confirm that invitations were sent to all listed members.
Invited users will receive an email invitation similar to this example.
You can now see the invited members listed in the Members Tab.

Do I need to set up the registration form before inviting members?
Yes, it’s highly recommended to configure the registration form first. The excel template fields are generated based on your registration setup.
What happens if I leave the password field blank in the bulk upload?
If left blank, members will be asked to set their own password when logging in for the first time.
Can I re-upload the same excel file if I make changes?
Yes, but ensure the column titles remain unchanged and the data format is correct before re-uploading.
How do I track invited members?
Go to the Members Tab to see a list of invited users and their registration status.
