Getting Started ( Before you invite members)
Learn how to customize your community by setting up a logo, description, time zone, and currency. These steps will ensure your platform reflects your community’s identity and preferences.
Access the Settings
Log in to the Jambo platform and navigate to the Settings icon (gear) located at the top-right corner of the dashboard to open the editable Basic Settings screen.
Here, you can customize the following : Name, Logo, Description, Time Zone, Currency
1) Name of Community : The name you set here will appear across the platform. However, the unique URL for your community is generated at the time of creation and cannot be changed later. Please ensure you choose the right name when setting up your community for the first time.
2) Community Logo :
Upload a logo to represent your community. This logo will be used across the platform and on the landing page unless you upload a different logo in the Website Builder. If you change the logo in the Website Builder and publish it, the new logo will replace the default one everywhere.
Recommendation : Use an image with dimensions of 200×200 or 300×300 for best results.
Tip : A cropping tool is available for adjustments.
3) Description : Provide a brief description of your community to help new and existing members understand its purpose.
5) Save Changes : Once you’ve made all the updates, click the Save Changes button to apply them.

By following these steps, your community’s basic settings will be personalized and ready for members to join and engage effectively.
